The Good in Your Day

Each and every day of your life has many, many moving parts. There is so much going on. So many people, so many events and things and places. If you write down everything that happened and everything that you think about each day you could literally write a book a day for your entire life.

Each day we can break down into the highlights when we sum it up.

What do you think when someone says, “How was your day?”

What do you say?

What should you say?

I want to keep todays post short but I want to keep the message powerful.  I want YOU to get value from this post. I want to help to change your life. I want you to find the good in your day.

Here are the three steps that I want you to take each and every day of your life to create the life you desire. 

STEP #1: Begin the day PROUD of the good in yesterday. What did you do yesterday that was awesome? What did you accomplish? Write it down. Say it out loud. Own it. Yesterday I put the finishing touches on next weeks webinars and I had a couple of great phone calls. Those were wins from my day. When I woke up this morning I smiled and was proud of my accomplishments from yesterday. What was the good in your day yesterday?

STEP #2: Set your sights on accomplishing good things TODAY. What is good about your day? What is the best part of your day going to be? What are you excited about? Articulate that. Say it. Write it down. Focus on that. What is the good in YOUR day going to be? For me I am excited about some new systems that I have developed in my business. I know, excited about work. That’s crazy. Find the good that is going to be in your day and take a moment to let it inspire you.

STEP #3: At the end of the day think about your good moments and smile. Isn’t that what life is all about?

I am not talking about huge life changes here. I’m talking about taking just a little bit of your focus and placing it on the GOOD in your life. So many people focus on the bad things in the world and in their lives. Focus on the good in your life and you will be a happy person.

Guess what else happens when you focus on the good?

Yeah, you get more good! Don’t we all want that?
